Warning signs of a scam broker

If you see any of these, stop before you deposit.

  1. 1

    No real regulation

Verify the licence number on the regulator's own website (FCA, ASIC, CySEC). Fake or cloned licence numbers are common.

  2. 2

    Withdrawals refused or delayed

Scam brokers invent fees, "taxes" or technical problems when you try to withdraw.

  3. 3

    Unrealistic, guaranteed returns

No legitimate broker can guarantee 30%+ monthly profits.

  4. 4

    Aggressive sales calls

Pressure to deposit "before the offer expires" is a classic tactic.

  5. 5

    No verifiable address

Legitimate brokers have real, checkable offices. Vague offshore locations are a red flag.

  6. 6

    Impossible bonus terms

Hidden volume requirements that make withdrawing your own money impossible.
