David Freeman replaces Zuzana Hashemi as CEO of GS Securities

Dubai-based offshore CFDs broker GS Securities has made changes at the top of its management team. The company has named David Freeman as its new CEO, while longtime executive Zuzana Hashemi has left the firm.

Freeman joined GS Securities in 2024 as Chief Commercial Officer. Before that, he held senior positions across several payments and FX companies, including Markets Direct, DRFQ, FX.IM, now CDAX, GCEX, FIXI, Central FX, and First Rate FX.

Hashemi had been with the Goldstone Group since 2016, when she started as a senior lawyer at Goldenburg Group Ltd, the group’s former CySEC-licensed entity. Over the years, she led a number of business units within the group, including Capedis DMCC, Black Pearl Securities Ltd, which runs the BP Prime brokerage brand, and most recently GS Securities, the group’s offshore CFDs brokerage based in Saint Lucia.

Hashemi is now running her own strategic legal and regulatory advisory firm for CFD brokers and crypto firms, called Harlyz.

GS Securities also saw another departure, with Head of Partnerships Freddie Price leaving the business. Price joined Goldstone and GS Securities in early 2025 after a career outside the industry as a golf professional.

GS Securities, Goldstone Group, and BP Prime are controlled by Vladimir Gesperik, a Slovak entrepreneur who now lives in the UAE. Gesperik also runs Golden Brokers, an offshore CFDs broker based in Labuan.
